BALLOON MAN'S TREASURE CHEST
Carpenter, Mary Chapin

I don't think Mary Chapin gets enough credit. She almost single handedly rescued the female country singer and bought them into the 90's. She sang of strength and power for women and the rest of the country music women followed. Now she's been banished (from Country music) for her political views and perhaps liberal views on womanhood, but she still sings what she believes. I've seen her once (at my kids High School) and she is great on stage.
